Mami Ando

Graduated from Musashino Art University of Art and Design, Department of Painting

She works with symbolic beings such as ghosts and angels, and creates motifs of immaterial feelings and relationships that arise from her imagination, such as “forms of loneliness” and “invisible prayers. She explores the boundary between the real and the invisible worlds, and their sensory distance and connection through the presence of other people and things.
