Ryoko Kaneta

Born in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan
Graduated from Yokohama University of Art and Design

Ryoko Kaneta expresses the existences that exceed human wisdom, such as God and natural scenes, through painting girls of different styles and ages. In recent years, she creates works themed on native Japanese culture and atmosphere. She has tried to find and convey contemporary era of characters of since 2012, and held the group exhibition named “199X”.
