This week, I went to the Creator Expo held at Makuhari Messe.
This event is a little different from the "Design Festa" that I introduced last time, as it is a business-oriented exhibition.
Creator EXPO is an event aimed at business negotiations.
There were many instances of exhibitors and visitors (mostly businessmen) meeting face-to-face to discuss how the creators' work and skills would be utilized, as well as discussing delivery dates, prices, and other practical business perspectives at each booth.
I felt that this was a valuable opportunity for creators to expand their new opportunities.
In addition to illustrations, there were many exhibitors in the video and animation genres, which gave me the impression that there is a growing demand for video creators.
At the venue, Makuhari Messe, in addition to the Creator Expo, there were also exhibits such as Licensing Japan and the Advanced Digital Technology Exhibition, introducing ideas and trends from a variety of fields.
It was a rare opportunity to see such a wide variety of genres in one place.
The Creator Expo was an event that showed its potential as a business opportunity.
I felt that this was an exhibition worth attending, not only to see the appeal of the creators firsthand, but also as a place for business negotiations and networking to take the next step.
